The Michigan Veteran Affairs Agency has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 National Veterans Workforce Development Conference originally scheduled for September 10 – 11 in Detroit, MI. The COVID-19 pandemic has limited our ability to host large gatherings, and cuts to discretionary spending have made the conference financially untenable. The MVAA continues to serve Michigan’s veterans, and we look forward to our continued partnership with our workforce development stakeholders
As the central coordinating agency connecting Michigan veterans to the benefits they have earned, MVAA works to identify and breakdown barriers veterans face in employment, education, health care and quality of life.
The Michigan Veteran Resource Service Center (800-MICH-VET) and MichiganVeterans.com website provide one-stop access for veterans and their families seeking information, resources and staff support.
