Nick is a sports journalist from Tucson, Ariz. Over the last year he has produced feature stories on the some of the most gifted high school athletes in Tucson uncovering their motivations and opportunities for success. Nick has covered games both at the college and high school levels for some of the best athletic programs in the state.
Nick grew up playing sports and made a short career playing Division I soccer in college. After an injury put an end to his athletic endeavors he picked up sports writing as a way to always stay close to the action.
He soon discovered that being on the sidelines was where he belonged as he could uncover narratives about athletes that helped bring the sports alive for his readers.
