Welcome! I’m a psychologist and lifelong video game player researching how gaming affects mental health. This includes both positive impacts such as stress relief, and negative impacts such as neglecting personal relationships. To study this, I work with data from companies such as Nintendo, Xbox, and Unity.
A broader goal of my work is to make psychological research on games more trustworthy via the open science movement.
I’m a postdoc at the Oxford Internet Institute , having recently finished my PhD at Queen Mary University of London.
