THANK YOU! participants on the beach total fundraiser plungers WE DID IT TOGETHER! Your generosity has gone above and beyond! We are truly grateful for your support. By showing up at the Nelson Polar Bear, you showed your support for your community-powered radio and a healthy Kootenay Lake. The annual Polar Bear Swim happened in Nelson at Lakeside Park beach at noon on Sunday January 1st 2023. Between 350 and 400 people showed up to participate. By raising the most money, Laurence won a night and breakfast for 2 at The Sentinel in Kaslo, plus access to the spa. Thank you to the Sentinel for their donation. Participants could also win $200 for a dinner for two at Outer Clove or a ShoeBox cinema rental in Nelson to invite 20 of your friends over to watch a movie! And so much more!
