The North American Floorball League (NAFL) exists to bring the highest level of floorball to North America, in order to showcase the sport to a new audience and develop the game in new markets. Floorball is a fast-paced, exciting sport that has become very popular in Europe and is rapidly expanding around the world, particularly in North America. The NAFL was founded in 2020 and began play in June of 2022.
The NAFL began play with 4 teams, and will play with 6 teams in 2023. The season will be played over the course of three weeks, with 3 teams hosting the other teams for round-robin play in their home venue. Each team will play 2 to 5 games per week. The teams will each play 10 regular season games, and the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, which will be held on the final Saturday and Sunday of the season.
