This property and building have a long history in the Armuchee area, and many older residents remember this church growing up.
The history of this church dates back to 1889 or even earlier. The property was deeded from John L. Cook on September 23, 1889, and is recorded on a stone in the hilltop church cemetery . The first structure was a log building that was across the road from the current church building. It was used as a school during the week and church on Sunday.
