HAERE MAI KI MT RUAPEHU Mt Ruapehu rises from the heart of New Zealand’s North Island, located in the Dual World Heritage, Tongariro National Park.
In winter we operate two ski areas - Whakapapa and TÅ«roa. Terrain is formed by solidified lava, making for some of the most exhilarating skiing and riding NZ has to offer.
In summer , with the maunga laid bare of its winter coat, we offer sightseeing aboard the 1.8km Sky Waka gondola, with views across the Central Plateau, and down to the unique volcanic terrain, dining at 2020m, and marked walks.
