There are many opportunities for you and your programs to promote the sport of football throughout the season and build that community bond. One of those is the Salute to MN Football weekend which is set for October 6-8, 2023. This is an opportunity for MN football programs at all levels to celebrate the game of football. This past fall, $463,195 was raised for the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund! This past fall, 176 high schools, 15 colleges, along with the Gophers and the Vikings, joined the fight against cancer. Over the past 11 years, close to 3 million dollars has been raised for cancer research and patient aid. The Randy Shaver Foundation supports research for every type of cancer and offers patient aid to communities throughout Minnesota.
The Tackle Cancer goal for 2023 is $500,000. The MFCA will mail out information for the 2023 campaign this spring
