The Michigan City Promise Scholarship program will cultivate economic development, promote families and education, and continued positive change for Michigan City. By offering post-secondary scholarships to Michigan City High School graduates, Michigan City Promise Scholarship will raise the level, importance and performance of its student population.
The Michigan City Promise Scholarship is a bold initiative that awards eligible Michigan City High School students with a scholarship to help defray the cost of tuition for post-secondary education. The Scholarship is funded through Michigan City funding and from generous donations from the corporate sector of Michigan City. The Michigan City Promise Scholarship applies to tuition and fees, including laboratory, student activity, and registration fees at regionally accredited colleges/universities/post secondary programs in Indiana. (Scholarship monies cannot be applied to room and board, books, or summer school.)
