I am a mathematical physicist who works on problems that arise in quantum theory. When I received my PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1969, I also received an M.A. in mathematics. After a series of postdocs and few years as assistant professor in the math department at the University of Oregon, I took a faculty position at the University of Lowell, which became a campus of the University of Massachusetts in 1990.
