I am the lab manager for the Tufts Advanced Microscopic Imaging Center at Tufts University. We offer a wide array of optical and spectral imaging techniques to support medical and industry research. In my own research, I am currently with Tufts' ODDET group (Georgakoudi Lab) using label-free quantitative imaging (mainly TPEF , SRS , and FLIM ) of chemical content in cells and tissues to better understand aging.

I was previously a JSPS post-doc fellow in the Nanophotonics group (Fujita Lab) at Osaka University and currently hold a post as an affiliated researcher for ongoing projects with the group. As a postdoc I studied the the impact of microplastics on host tissues using linescan Raman imaging.

I did my Ph.D. in the Structural Chemistry group (Goda Lab) at the University of Tokyo, where I combined photonics, microfluidics, and real-time signal processing to develop high-throughput coherent Raman & fluorescence flow cytometers and cell sorters.
