Melanie Formosa, who will be graduating summa cum laude with a degree in journalism and a minor in environmental humanities, has won the 2023 Martin Buskin Award for Outstanding Campus Journalism.
Joseph is a journalism major and digital arts minor and is the executive editor of the Stony Brook Press, a monthly student-run campus magazine.
Maya Brown is a journalism and political science double major and the incoming managing editor of The Statesman.
