Professor & Researcher
I am Professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) Law School, Rio de Janeiro, where I head the Center for Technology and Society ( CTS-FGV ) and the CyberBRICS project. I am also Associated Researcher at the Centre de Droit Public Comparé of Paris 2 University, Member of the Board of the Alliance for Affordable Internet ( A4AI ), and Director of the Latin-American edition of the Computers Privacy and Data Protection conference ( CPDP LatAm ) .
My work is at the interface of law and technology, and I focus primarily on Internet access, data protection and digital platform regulations, and digital policies in the BRICS countries. I enjoy developing multistakeholder partnerships to analyse existing challenges and put forward creative solutions.
