I specialize in culturally-respectful, trauma-informed care that centres on the lived experiences of my clients. My approach is collaborative and meaning-making, and I use Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems modalities in my work.
Louise is an experienced Canadian journalist who began her career in health and science writing by focusing on health promotion and advocacy work for non-profit organizations.
As her own family grew, Louise’s interests naturally shifted to topics related to family life and parenting, and she’s been publishing in those areas for many years.
