Liz Bourke is the author of Sleeping With Monsters: Readings and Reactions in Science Fiction and Fantasy (Aqueduct Press, 2017), which was a finalist for the 2018 Hugo Award (category: Best Related Work). Since 2010, she has written for Tor.com, Locus magazine, Publishers Weekly , and Strange Horizons, among others.
In 2016, she completed a PhD in Classics from Trinity College Dublin. She is currently undertaking a H.Dip in Science in Computing from the National College of Ireland in order to change careers into the technology sector.
