As a freelance consumer affairs journalist, I cover money, health and lifestyle writing, news, features and comment for an array of newspapers, magazines and websites. I also have training in photography and podcasting and can provide my own high-quality images and audio. I’m also a senior lecturer in journalism at Sheffield Hallam University and I have published widely in academic journals and books. I have a PhD in Journalism Studies and my research interests are digital journalism, regional press and journalism education.
