I am a research fellow at Open Philanthropy on the global health & well-being cause prioritization team. My work generally involves investigating possible new cause areas where Open Philanthropy may make grants in the future.
In 2023, I am also a Tarbell Fellow . During the fellowship, I am focusing on public-facing writing on global health and development. My work has been published in Works in Progress and The Washington Post ( 1 , 2 ).
In my copious spare time, I am a QI elf (one of the writers of @qikipedia as well as other QI products) and a geopolitical risk consultant to GeoQuant . Otherwise, I am generally being bullied by my cat, Lyra .
