A high performance audio system is a harmonious balance of audio electronics, components, cables and loudspeakers. At the centre of the system is the 'audio stand' which plays the essential supporting role whilst simoultaneously minimising the noise floor by reducing energies that are 'audio feedback' from the loudspeaker's sound. A poor 'noise floor' with excessive resonances and energies interupts, unbalances and restricts the performance of the electronics: players, dacs, and amplifiers.
