As COVID has had a huge impact on the number of referees available in Kamloops and throughout the province, the KWSL would like to actively support the recruitment and training of some new referees. Age requirement for adult league games is 16 and above. In order to assist new referees with their associated costs (course registration, uniforms, gear etc), the KWSL is pleased to announce that they will provide $50 to the first 10 referees upon successful completion of their training. The current pay for referees in Kamloops is $60 per adult game as the head referee and $30 per game to be a linesperson for one of the adult league games. In order to be considered for this $50 reimbursement, please contact the KWSL webmaster at [email protected] to express your interest.
