I did not go to a school to be initiated in a particular form of spirituality, healing or shamanism. I did not “decide” to become a shamaness. I was born the way I am. I had to struggle through immense challenges and trauma. I had to rely on my inner knowing and trust, without needing it to all make sense. I groped around in the darkness until I found my way. I gritted it out, so to speak.
