Distilling to leave a legacy
We have been producing award winning spirits at our small, family-run Kintyre distillery since 2017, including our signature Kintyre Gin. We use our very own renewable energy, powered by a 100kw hydroelectric scheme at our home on Torrisdale Castle Estate. Our water is sourced from the hill from which we take our name. ‘Beinn an Tuirc’ translates from Gaelic as ‘The Hill of the Wild Boar’ and is the highest point in Kintyre, located above our distillery building.
