Welcome! I am a co-founder & CTO at Kotoba Technologies, Inc. , where our goal is to deploy large language models in Japanese and Asian corporations I am also a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) , located on the University of Chicago campus.
I earned my Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington , advised by Noah A. Smith . Prior to my Ph.D., I received a B.S. in Statistics at Yale University, advised by Robert Frank , Dragomir Radev , and Owen Rambow .
