Today is the longest day, and up here in the North of Scotland it will never get truly dark, only dusk at best. Last month I got a surprise in that May was named after a Greek goddess, which was a first for this series. True to form we’re back to the Roman goddesses this month, Juno to be exact, the goddess of marriage and the wife of the “supreme deity Jupiter”. Wow, no pressure being married to him then!
