In 2016, Judge Shah was appointed by Mayor Kasim Reed as a Pro Hac Judge to the City of Atlanta Municipal Court where he presides over traffic offenses and city ordinances. Judge Shah is also the 5th District Representative for the Council of Municipal Court Judges.
Judge Shah is an adjunct professor at Ohio Northern University Law School where he teaches jury selection and cross-examination. He is also a former faculty member for the Georgia Trial Skills Clinic, GACDL's Bill Daniel Trial Program, and AAJ's Deposition College. In addition, Judge Shah has run a criminal defense externship program through John Marshall Law School in Atlanta .
Judge Shah is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and mediates civil litigation cases at Miles Mediation .
