The primary purpose of the journal is to provide researchers, scientists, academicians and students with a permanent record of achievements in the fields of energy and environment with a view towards sustainable development, particularly for Asian countries. Special issues devoted to important topics in science and technology will be published on an occasional basis. This journal is also designed to give an opportunity for those who attend the international conference on Sustainable Energy and Environment (
JSEE deals with scientific and innovative aspects related to energy technologies and environmental-related energy technologies. Energy technologies include several energy conversion processes (e.g. combustion, gasification, and pyrolysis of coal, petroleum oil, natural gas, waste, and biomass etc) renewable energy (e.g. wind, hydro, biomass, biofuel, and solar) and new energy conversion systems and processes (e.g. hydrogen/fuel cell, nuclear, and second generation synthetic fuels (e.g. GTL, BTL, and DME)).
