Today's controversy and how it can be related to the 60+ countries I visited and/or lived in.
Originally, the UN arms treaty focused on the non-proliferation of nuclear arms. But for a while now, the UN has been very active in promoting the non-proliferation of small arms. Basically, the signatory countries promise to reduce the number of small arms and ammunition as much as possible.
They say it does not necessarily mean the arm forces. But it mostly means you and me.
