Who We Are and What We Do Consistent with Colorado State University’s land-grant mission, C-ALT was established to promote the scholarship of learning analytics. Our primary goal is to move theory into practice to inform learners and to improve teaching practices.
Learning analytics is the use of learner data to advance learning and instruction. C-ALT researchers develop and empirically test the efficacy of data-driven tools designed to improve both learning and teaching. Our mission is to set the standard for the use of learning analytics at public research universities in teaching, research, service, and extension for the benefit of all.
