My name is Ingrid, and one of my childhood nicknames was Ingipingi. After a fulfilling career in IT, I am living my dreamlife in the South of France while developing my passion for sewing. Many clothing and household items can be repaired or reused to make something new, and my goal is to help extend the lifespan of these cherished things. Have a look at some of my creations.
You might also like to know that I am an identical twin and married to an identical twin. I am blessed with a beautiful daughter and granddaughter who live in Cornwall. I was born in Cape Town and worked in the photographic industry while running a market-stall business. In 1986 I left South Africa and, after a short time in Scotland, moved to England where I lived for nine years before moving to Amsterdam in 1994.
