We focus our efforts on a forgotten group of People: the Pokot of Western Kenya . People whom we know and love. People we consider dear friends. They are also extremely impoverished, neglected, and marginalized; which is why we are committed to investing in their lives. Over the past fourteen years, we’ve entered into a partnership with the Pokot Outreach Ministry (POM) to provide HOPE –one clean water well at a time.
Water is our most basic and vital need in life. Without it, nothing can happen. Nothing can grow. But with it, everything changes. Clean water quenches thirst — but it also restores health. With access to clean water, life can be given back to a community. Water is life…and hundreds of millions of people around the world are suffering today because they do not have access to clean water. OUR MISSION Who we are. The Hope Water Project team is made up of individuals with a heart for the Pokot tribe. Whether a fundraiser, donor or volunteer, our team members aim to fundraise and increase awareness of the clean water problem our Pokot family faces in western Kenya. Funds donated and raised are used to dig clean water wells; where there is clean water, there is HOPE, there is life, there is a future and there is Jesus.
