HWMAR is made up of a coalition of volunteers and professionals that include rescuers, transporters, fosters, veterinarians, humane societies, investigators and shelters that advocate for and save homeless animals throughout the State of Illinois and across the country.
Animals are viewed by appointment only since they reside in foster homes. To meet an animal, please fill out an adoption application . You will be notified by an adoption team member upon approval of your application to set up a meet and greet.
