This years Mini-Wars will be on October 14th and 15th at the Doubletree by Hilton, 7000 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, CA 90620. The Convention Committee is already collecting information for the website. Before that goes public, the website needs games in the PEL. This year’s Spring Campaign was Sand Wars in Mesa Arizona. We returned to the Mesa Convention Center for two days of action packed historical gaming on May 20th – 21st. The Flames of War Tournament saw a 350% growth over last year. We saw a large uptick in Arizona membership. CAMERONE — “Not Men but Demons!” and 55 Days at Peking were the standout games. The IRS processed our Tax Exempt Reinstatement, but we still had to move the location of Mini-Wars. Due to the way their tax status is handled, the Army Navy Academy cannot not rent their building to outside groups unless they are tax exempt. As luck would have it, the notice was not processed until it was too late. The new location is in Anaheim at the Hobby Day Hall.
