Henry Childs II is the Founder and CEO of the Minority Wealth Commission . Henry's goal is to eradicate the racial wealth gap by creating generational wealth in historically disadvantaged communities in the United States. From 2020 - 2022, Henry co-launched two private equity funds that are raising $450 million to invest in minority business enterprises. To date, the funds have raised over $250 million.
From 2018-2020, Henry was the the 17th National Director of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), where he secured $4.8 billion in contracts and financing for minority-owned businesses.
He also served as the Policy Advisor to the White House Office of Public Liaison.
