In summary, our plan proposes that we set up a joint working group comprising management and UNISON reps to carry out a review in partnership to deliver: updated HCA Job descriptions for every ward and department in MPH; clearly defined Band 2 and Band 3 HCA roles required for each part of the service; assessment of current staff duties and knowledge/training to assign each HCA to the appropriate band; an agreed change process to support this restructure of roles and move staff; agreement on other matters,
