She received her entire education via local public schools, graduating from Hayward High School in 1996, earning her BA from Cal State Hayward in 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Cal State East Bay in 2012. With the support of teachers and mentors from many walks of life, Elisa is proud to now put her education to work benefitting all Alameda County residents.
Elisa’s public service journey began in 2008 when she was appointed to the Hayward Planning Commission. Later, in 2014, Elisa was appointed to the Hayward City Council, where she successfully ran for election in 2016 and was the top vote-getter in her 2020 reelection. Elisa’s career has also been enriched by serving as a Probate Court Investigator for the California Superior Court for nearly 11 years, as well as many regional leadership roles, including serving on the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement Distr
Elisa is committed to uplifting all residents, listening, and collaborating to help all local communities thrive, and working to ensure economic mobility for all.
