The first visit is extensive and time consuming. You will be in the office about 3 hours for that first visit.
Functional Medicine Florida does not accept insurance or Medicare, and we do not file insurance paperwork on your behalf. However, we will provide a detailed super bill for services performed for you to submit to your insurance carriers. We also work closely with the labs to provide them with the correct diagnostic codes for them to submit to your insurance company. Please note that we are unable to process Medicare claims for services due to legal restrictions.
Insurance companies may cover a portion of medical services and laboratory tests performed by the physician based on individual contractual agreements between you and your insurance company. When labs are drawn insurance information is sent with specimen’s so, that labs may bill for their services.
