Greater Umbrage is the home of Kelley Minars, Creative Technologies Librarian at the Dolph Briscoe, Jr. Library . After receiving my MLIS in 2005 I worked for the Osceola Library System for several years, first as a reference librarian, then as e-librarian charged with overseeing the redesign and management of the system’s website. In 2008 I moved on to a medical research library at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where I serve as Web Services Librarian.
I have taught classes on emerging technologies, 3D printing and design, a variety of social media, blogging, and introductory computers and applications to a wide variety of skill levels.
