Sometimes, falling and burning space debris can be confused with a “shooting star”, but, as a rule, its speed is half the speed of falling stars. Likewise, flying satellites and the International Space Station can be seen in the sky.
It looks very bright – brighter than any planet except Venus – a star, white or bluish, that crosses the southern sky. Sometimes the ISS can disappear halfway when hiding in the shadow of the Earth . If you’re lucky, you can see not only the station, but also a cargo or manned ship arriving at it. Then they will look like two stars, very different in brightness, following the same course.
A very beautiful phenomenon is the northern lights. Approximately once a decade, it “finishes off” even to New-York , for example, it was in March 2015 .
