Indian Canyon was designed in 1930 by H. Chandler Egan and has been chosen by Golf Digest many times as one of the top 25 public courses in the United States. The Canyon sits atop the west entrance to Spokane, overlooking the city. Indian Canyon requires accuracy from the tee to the green. The site of many major tournaments, Indian Canyon has hosted the U.S.G.A. three times; the United States Amateur Public Links Championship in 1941 and 1984; and the United States Women's Amateur Public Links Championship
