We’re here again at the turn of the season. Cauliflower, kale, cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, winter squash, etc… this is the busiest time of year when it comes to harvesting. We also harvested our wheat crop, and are about to harvest our barley (today!). Nights are getting cool, and this is a great time for us to tuck in the last plantings of fall crops, which will carry us through the winter. We plan on working up a little more ground and planting a smattering of mustard, turnips, lettuce, and bok
As things cool down we also start to spend more time in the mill, restocking products. Yes, we know we haven’t had pancake mixes and cereals for awhile. They’ll be back soon! See you at the markets! L&J
