Description: Safety and reliability are necessary in all district facilities. They provide critical behind-the-scenes support for our students and staff. But the current condition of our transportation and outdoor facilities drain financial resources, pose potential safety hazards, and exacerbate workforce shortages. Issue 10 on the November ballot funds the plan to address Amherst Schools’ most pressing facilities needs. It renews Amherst’s existing 2-mill permanent improvement levy and adds 0.5 mills.
