1. The SmartBox can diagnose faults in almost any piece of fencing equipment. 2. The resistance of the item being tested can be graphically displayed on screen. 3. Not only can the SmartBox diagnose equipment failure but it can also indicate intermittent faults. Including: Foil and Sabre resistance Bayonet body wires 2 pin body wires Epee body wires Spools/reels Ground wires Foil bibs Sabre masks and cuffs
1. The SmartBox conforms to FIE timings for Foil, Sabre and Epee. 2. It can record the score on its built in screen. 3. During a match it can test the weapon and lame of both players for on the piste fault finding. 4. The SmartBox can audibly signal the “On guard, Ready, Fence” commands; useful for when you don’t have a referee. NEW: SmartBox 2.0 now comes with the option to include a piste connection.
1. For foil, the SmartBox allows the practice of flick hits. It shows the duration of contact in milliseconds on it’s built in LCD display. 2. It will also visually and audibly indicate if a flick hit was too short to be registered in a foil match (> 13ms)* 3. During a match it is possible to completely ignore off target hits. This means that only hits to the lame will register (foil only).
