The Experimentation Platform (ExP) was a project headed by Ronny Kohavi at Microsoft from 2006. It went live in 2007 and the team was merged into Bing in 2010. In 2014, the team split from Bing with the goal of making more groups at Microsoft data driven with experimentation.
