We live in a world that is loaded with "help". Programs, blogs, self-help books, therapy, and even medication. What rarely gets reported is that study after study reports concludes that prayer does [shockingly] in fact work! Our mission by its very nature must be the mission of Christ: to reach out to the lost, teaching them how to be converted and then how to serve God in a way that pleases Him. ( Matthew 28:18-20 ) Jesus continually taught what the Kingdom of Heaven was all about. He came to seek and to save the lost ( Luke 19:10 ), and in the process helped heal their spiritual, physical, and emotional wounds. The mission of the church is the same. ...
