Boy Scout Troop 7 is chartered by the Congregational Church in Elburn, Illinois.
Meetings are currently held from 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm on Monday evenings at the church. The church is located at the northeast corner of Shannon St. and Route 47 in Elburn. No meetings are held when Kaneland Schools are not in session. During the summer, meetings are held every other week.
Boy Scout Troop 7 is part of the Potawatomi district. We participate in district-wide events like the Klondike Derby each winter. The troop also camps out on a monthly basis throughout the year; travels to a week long Summer Camp program each year; and has regulary sent crews on high adventure treks to Sea Base in Florida, Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and Canoe trips in Quetico Boundary Waters area along the Minnesota and Canadian borders.
