Donato is a keyboard player and sound designer based in Geneva, Switzerland. He started playing keyboards at the age of six and began performing at the age of eleven. In 2004, he became a part of the rock band “The Flag” and played more than 200 gigs in Switzerland and northeast Italy, and recorded 5 albums with them. With “the Flag”, Donato had the privilege of collaborating with many renowned artists, including Eugenio Finardi, Leo Leoni (Gotthard), Vic Vergeat (Toad), and Sebalter. Apart from “The Flag”,
Donato is currently playing in “Freddie and The Cannonballs,” who won the 2021 Swiss Blues Challenge and were semi-finalists at the 2022 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. He is also a member of “Next One” (rock), “Sparewheel” (blues/rock). Additionally, Donato actively participates as a featured artist in various studio projects. The last projects include Hus-Band, My Beautiful Disorders, and eXomind.
