Joel and Liz Beckman left the marine mammal-training world because they were passionate about bringing their unique talents to the dog training community. Their rare background training Killer Whales, Dolphins and other exotic animals has shaped their dog training philosophy, system and approach.
We feel that play is one of the keys to a happy, confidence and well socialized dog. No matter the program you choose or the reactivity or fear of your dog, our goal is to slowly or quickly get them playing with other dogs. We do a playtime in all of our group classes, private training sessions, and of course multiple playtimes daily during our Board & Train program with our ever rotating group of wonderful dogs.
Our dog trainers are the most experienced positive reinforcement team in the country. Joel Beckman has mentored each trainer and most of our trainers have worked with many different species of animals, including Killer whales, dolphins, big cats, birds of prey, etc. This gives them a training base and knowledge of reactivity and aggression like no other.
