The neighbouring settlements of Delamere and Oakmere form a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, some 12 miles to the east of the ancient City of Chester. Together with parts of Willington and Kingsley they form the ecclesiastical parish of St Peter’s, Delamere.
