Also from my old pos ts: in May 2008, whe n Bush was in the last year of his disastrous presidency, gas was $3.89/gallon. Adjusted for inflation, that's $5.58/gallon. But this was okay, because a Republican was in the White House. It's like now, when the GOP is screeching about government spending, while -- when Trump was in office -- they did not care how much he put on the government's credit card.
