Description: DEED is a global education and learning centre serving Dorset, Hampshire and South Wiltshire. We support education and innovation by encouraging and inspiring teachers, pupils and community members to develop their understanding of global issues and cultural diversity. DEED offers training for adults and teachers in Multicultural Britain, Sustainability, Global Learning and Black History and more.
We offer training for adults and teachers on a range of themes including Multicultural Britain, Sustainability, Global Learning and Black History. Our courses can be adapted to suit twilight, half-day, or whole day in your venue or at a central venue. We also have a wide range of hands-on resources available to borrow, hire and download.
We help prepare children and young people for life in modern Britain by celebrating multiculturalism in our country. Our aim is to have people live together better by exploring the values we hold in common, such as mutual respect and fairness, whilst also accepting and exploring our differences.
Our training, workshops and resources explore the relationship between Britain and the rest of the world and celebrate the stories of Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people who have made an outstanding contribution to life in modern Britain, including Mary Seacole, Noor Inayat Khan and many, many others. We can help you challenge stereotypes and create positive images of cultural diversity.
