Hannah Lawrence
Hi, I’m David Barmherzig. I’m a Research Fellow at the Flatiron Institute ‘s Center for Computational Mathematics . My research is broadly focused on computational and mathematical imaging, signal processing, optimization, and machine learning.
I completed my Ph.D. at Stanford University , with Professor Emmanuel J. Candès as my doctoral dissertation advisor. I also hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science (with Honours) and an M.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Toronto , and have been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University .
I’m also accredited by Professional Engineers Ontario , and have served as a technical consultant to MedX Protocol .
